A Mentor allow you to see the hope inside you.

Getting a Mentor is shortcut to sucess!

The main purpose of a mentor is to help entrepreneurs with specific questions by sharing their knowledge and contacts harvested through their years of experience. Therefore, a mentor must not only fulfil their executive functions, but also understand the process and evolution of the project.

Reasons for the need of Mentorship programme:-

1. Somebody to rely on in the long run:-

As you are going to start your e-commerce business you want someone who has encounter, bunch of tip-offs for you.

In recent studies have shown that 33% of start-up founders who became top performers were all mentored. There is a strong link between the success of a start-up and start-up mentoring, then apparently you should get a mentor.

“There are lots of bad reasons to start a company. But there’s only one good, legitimate reason, and I think you know what it is: it’s to change the world.”

-Phil Libin, Evernote CEO

2. Honest and realistic perspectives

Mentorship can be of great value in ensuring your vision and actions are realistic and responsible. For instance, when your start-up is not ready for the next step, your idea is not developed well enough, your solution does not really solve any real problem or the product-market fit does not line up properly. The mentor will be the first to tell you that you are not ready yet and should address these issues.

As mentors look at your company from an outsider’s perspective, they will be able to notice issues that are hard for you to notice from within the company.

3. Developing a set of skills

Obviously, running a start-up requires a diverse set of skills, a mentor basically helps develop those skill sets. You need to know how to develop an effective business model, how to solve problems, manage a team, do web development and proper accounting, how to raise funds, communicate with clients, and so on. Unless most of your team members are professionals from certain fields, you will not know how to handle all these things.

“Get a mentor in the applicable field if you’re at all unsure of what you’re looking for”.

– Kyle Bragger, Forrst founder
